Overview

Paradigm Infinite Quasar is a top-down bullet-hell game about destroying waves of enemies to gain a score and potentially staking your claim on the leaderboard. Paradigm Infinite Quasar features unique ships with a special ability that changes the battle's landscape.

Project Goals

  • Demonstrate programming knowledge and ability to bring a project from concept to ship.
  • Gain the knowledge of shipping a mobile game.
  • Learn optimization techniques required to program a mobile game.

Mechanics

Selectable Weapons
The player has the ability to select from 12 unique weapons that will aid there ability to survive.

Weapon Upgrades
The player can upgrade weapons through simple upgrade such as stat increases and also through unique upgrades that can completely change how the weapon works.

Ultimate's
Each ship has its own unique Ultimate. The Ultimate is designed to be used when the player has no other choice. This should help the player survive the situation they are in.

Collectable
Collectables have a chance to drop from the enemies. These collectables can vary from health, to upgrades.

Overview

Holdout is a survival first-person shooter (FPS) that puts players in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. The game is fast-paced and challenging, requiring players to fight off waves of zombies in order to survive. As the waves progress, the zombies become stronger and
more numerous, forcing players to use all of their skills and weapons to stay alive.

Project Goals

  • Create a game from concept to ship.
  • Demonstrate skills in Combat Design, programing, level design and engaging mechanics.
  • Create a 3D Perspective game that showed off the talent of everyone on the team.
